How much is the seed weight increased?
1 kg bare seed is now 1,54 kg of treated seed = +54% more in weight
What is the amount of Nitrogen applied per ha when using ProNitro?
The end product contains 10% N, and with a seeding rate of 300 kg ProNitro seed/ha in turf you will apply 30 kg/ha. As the seed is right where it is needed the effect is up to 4 times more!
Do I have to increase the seeding rate?
By adding the “food packet” to the seed an increase of more than 30% established plants has been measured. This compensate for the lower number of seeds sown per m2. If the main goal however is increased density then the seeding rate should be increased.
Can I store the treated seed?
Yes, the ProNitro coating does not harm the vigor of the seed when stored under dry and cool conditions.
Can the seed be used in all kinds of sowing machines?
Yes the surface of the ProNitro seed is made smooth during the treatment process and flow is undisturbed in the sowing machine.
Can I mix ProNitro seed with other seeds?
Yes –the coating is strong enough so it can be mixed in a normal seed mixer.
